ABOUT OKC UNITED
Oklahoma City’s professional soccer club, kicking off in 2028 in downtown OKC.
OKC United is being built by and for the people of Oklahoma City.
Everything about the club begins with OKC. The name reflects both a global soccer tradition and a distinctly local identity. The crest tells the story of this state. The colors are drawn from the Oklahoma sky.
Our ambition is straightforward. Compete at the highest level. Build a club that reflects this community. Connect Oklahoma to the world’s game, and bring the world’s game to Oklahoma.
OUR CREST
The OKC United crest was designed by acclaimed sports branding designer Matthew Wolff with creative direction from Russell Westbrook, a founding investor in the club.
The Shield
The shield takes the form of an arrowhead, an intentional nod to Oklahoma’s Native American heritage.
The Pattern
The zig-zag pattern that borders the shield draws from Jim Thorpe’s Sac and Fox name, Wa-Tho-Huk, meaning “Bright Path,” and reflects a view of life’s journey not as a straight line but as seasons of growth, change, adversity and success.

The Monogram
At its center, an interlocking OKC monogram sits inside a ring of 39 sun rays, representing each of the 39 federally recognized tribes headquartered in Oklahoma.
The Ribbon
A ribbon carrying the club name anchors the crest below.
OUR COLORS
The club’s color palette is inspired by the Oklahoma sky. Midnight blue, pink sunset and ivory cloud lead the identity, with twilight blue and hazy blue in support. Together, they capture the beauty, tenacity, joy and wonder of Oklahoma’s defining natural landscape — from the raw power of a spring thunderstorm to the majestic awe of an autumn sunset.
Every Oklahoman lives under the same sky. Now we’ll wear it too.

OUR OWNERSHIP GROUP
OKC United is majority owned by Echo Investment Capital, founded by Christian Kanady, and backed by one of the most compelling groups of athlete investors ever assembled around a single club.
The ownership group includes NBA champion and league MVP Russell Westbrook, NFL Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield, NBA All-Star and champion Jalen Williams, four-time Olympic gold medalist and world record holder Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, and U.S. Men’s National Team veteran Jozy Altidore, along with strategic investments from cultural entrepreneur Nick Gross and the Chickasaw Nation.
These are athletes who could have invested anywhere in the world. They chose OKC.
OUR STADIUM
OKC United will play its home matches at the MAPS 4 Multipurpose Stadium, a new downtown venue funded by Oklahoma City’s MAPS 4 quality of life initiative and designed by global stadium architecture firm Populous. The stadium broke ground in June 2026 and is scheduled to open in 2028 as the centerpiece of a mixed-use development integrating sports, entertainment and education.
With a capacity of just over 10,000, the venue is built for atmosphere and flexibility — capable of hosting concerts, other major sporting events and community programming in addition to OKC United matches.
The stadium arrives in a signature year for Oklahoma City. In 2028, the city will welcome OKC United’s inaugural season at the MAPS 4 Multipurpose Stadium, open the new Continental Coliseum as the future home of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and host LA28 Olympic events in the Boathouse District, just minutes from the stadium site.
